March Madness Peeps:

A different kind of results to post. I did a 65 mile bike ride through rural Georgia over the weekend (the Cartersville "Beautiful Backroads" Century route).

I did this route at the beginning of the bike challenge with an average speed of 17.72 ... did the same route this weekend and averaged 19.22.  That is a 1.5 mph difference - or close to 10% increase in speed. 

Granted that I got a new bike (reward to myself for making my increased goal), but as Lance said in 2004 - "It's not about the bike."

Hope your increased time in the saddle pays dividends too.

GOOD JOB.... I still need to get me a road bike... all my riding on the road has been with a MNT Bike and I am a big boy, hence big tires.... my mnt bike is 23" frame
