2nd Annual Race to the Ridge

Lets try this again - this first post did not work so well.....

If anyone is looking for something to do on June 26, the second annual Race to the Ridge is happening in Paradise, Ca (northern california). We start at Chico 1 mile recreation area, then go up HoneyRun Road 22 miles (an awe inspiring one lane roadway up the canyon edge, 1500 vertical feet in about 6 miles), then a 6.2 mile run (both roadways and class one bikepath).

We did this as a relay team last year and really had a great time (Paradise Town Hall vs. the Police and Fire Departments). Of course, my team of Town Hall desk jockeys beat both the police and fire teams by over 15 minutes.
