From the Desert Sharks Web-Site Forum

Hello All of you Ice Breaker TriGeeks,

Just to let you know, In Training will be conducting a "walk-about" on Friday, March 24th, at 7 p.m. The walk-about includes previewing the pool/swim area, transition area lay-out, course description/discussion, what to expect on race morning, equipment needs, etc. And it also gives you a chance to ask any last minute questions that you might have concerning the race.

Everyone is invited and the walk-about is free to all!

I'll see you soon, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Anyone up for a group carbo load after the "walk-about" Friday night?

Any good Italian places around AF?

There are a few decent carb-friendly places in A.F. There's Ottavio's just off of I-15 and Main Street. There's also a good Thai Village on Main Street about 1/2 mile off the freeway. Or you could go cheaper and go to Fazolis on State toward Pleasant Grove.

I may be able to join you.

Good luck tomorrow, everyone! I'm looking forward to getting together. I think we decided on 8:00 at the indoor track entrance, correct? We'll see if we can get into the pool area for pics afterwards.

Btw, I will not be able to make dinner after the walkthrough tonight, or the walkthrough itself for that matter.

Hopefully the wind won't pick up until the afternoon.

Are you planning on riding the new bike, then? I say go for it!
