Comments: I had hoped my time would be a lot lower, but I think I started out too fast. My times were really inconsistent. This was my first race with my new HRM, and I liked it. I just need to train myself to listen to it now though. What would you do differently?: Leave the house sooner. Try to pace myself better from the start.  Post race
Warm down: Stretched, had some pasta, and a cold beer. What limited your ability to perform faster: My lazy-ass training schedule over the last couple of weeks. This should be motivation enough to pick it up. Event comments: Great race with a good turnout. Plus it went for a cause, to help the cemetary. Last updated: 2006-03-19 12:00 AM

Master 2314 Gulf Shores, AL | Subject: RE: A Run Through History 5K Congrats on a great race. I have done that one twice and its really cool running through the cemetary. I also got a kick out of drinking beer on Sunday morning in the cemetary. |

Didn't sleep too good last night. Was up early, messed around the house, and left around 8:15.
Horrible. I took a wrong turn on the way down there, and it cost me almost 10 mins. By the time I got there, got my packet and stretched a little, it was time to head to the starting line. No time for a warmup run.
