yep,
Subject: NEW PR in swimming

okay this might not seem like much to you all but heck with 4 days until my first sprint tri.  I finally  got to do 500 meters straight.  Never actually had the endurance muscles wise, got pretty tired in the arms before.  I ended up doing 500 meters in like 10-11 mins.  But now tonights workout was a sigh of relief and makes me even more excited for my tri this weekend

I think the bug has bit me!

Congrats! I know that feeling well.
It's such a huge relief to finally do the race distance in the pool, nonstop. A real confidence booster.

Nice going on the swim.  Hopefully it all comes together for you at your first tri.  Best of luck and we'll be watching for your race report.

Nice job!

Be careful not to go out too fast in your swim. I had my first Tri this March and my goal was 10 minutes. I started out 250m in about four minutes, then died for the last 250m doing 6 minutes 15 seconds, breathing every second stroke.
