So I see a debit on my online credit card statement for 129.99 from a multisport something or other out of California.  My kids also blabbed that daddy has an easter surprise coming.  I just bought a Garmin and a separate HRM.  I am thinking tri suit maybe?  Any other thoughts in this price range?  I suppose it could be a number of items, but the fact it works out to xxx.99 makes me think it is one item.  Hmmm...

You're ruined the surprise!  Now the Easter Bunny won't come to your house

Or wait- it could be an alpaca?  They are now the offical mascot for triathlons, so I'm sure they sell them at multisport stores now.

I ruined my ski vacation when I turned the big 3-0 cuz of checking my credit card statement.  She knows that I know I am getting something.  In the future, I might just need to never check my statement and pay whatever the balance is without checking (actually, this might be part of her motivation...hmm...)  It is just too difficult to sit on ones hands and not guess here.  All I need from the easter bunny is a few Reese's Peanut Butter eggs and I am good, but I aint gonna complain.

My wife hates me even more!

She is always trying to find things to surprise me, and I usually know what it is without a receipt or credit card statement or anything. Half the time, it is because I bring home the SAME EXACT THING she bought me.

I know one Christmas, she bought and returned at least 5 things that I inadvertently guessed about (I really don't try to find out).

Um...the cutoff keeps getting earlier and earlier in the calendar. I don't usually buy anything for myself after Thanksgiving ==> November 1 ==>October 1...Her big complaint is I'll say something and pinpoint the gift without trying.

Challenging for me since my birthday is early December, so I cannot spend birthday $$ until after Christmas.
