Run
Comments: The run...I mean walk was FUN...Jeepfleeb, Comet, Tri it Cajun Style and I had a blast...Comet was even rejected by the Chocolate City wagon Bimbos who wouldn't give her a Chocolate Martini....We at least beat those losers..After the run/walk we hung out had some more Abita...Overall alot of fun and I kept telling everyone it didn't matter about our time because it wasn't a real race because we didn't start off with a swim:) What would you do differently?: Fix my water bra so that my boobs weren't lopsided..Pull our own drink wagon. Post race
Warm down: What was I to warm down from What limited your ability to perform faster: Laurie and the port-a-potties and my boobs kept getting in the way Last updated: 2006-04-11 12:00 AM

Woke up in my Trailer home of the past 7 months...Headed for Derek and Laurie's to meet up with the crew and head down toward City Park.
John (The Bear) and I ran the course backward with a few wrong turns and put in a nice warm-up of about 7.2 miles. We clipped along at about 9:20 I believe it could have been faster if I had been listening when The Bear said turn and I would go straight and we would bump into each other. I was really just training us for the start. Met up with the BT gang and we got dressed, got interviewed, had a pre-load Abita "energy" drink then stopped at Cafe Du Monde for my water bra filling and yes Haley and Laurie got the coldest water they could find...After that we had a photo op with The Chocolate City Mayor and we were off....
