Hey all!

Here are wk #3 results, we're at 64.8% and climbing.  I hope you all are having as much fun as I am

13 days to the A-race and I'm confident that I'm ready to go after a top 10 AG.  The April and May MS challenges were a big part of this.

Oh, if anyone had inputs past 5 pm or so let me know if I missed them.

Don

Last weekend in May folks - hope everyone is doing well.

Swim 90% complete (1500 meters to go)
Bike 76% complete (46 km to go)
Run 82% complete (16 km to go)

Should make all my goals. Running is the only iffy one as I felt a few twinges in my left knee during the start of my run on Wednesday. I'm getting new shoes tonight so hoping those combined with a few days of no running will eliminate the pain. No swelling just twinges of pain. Rainy weekend here.

Swim - 93% should be able to get 100% with 1 more swim workout.
Bike - 32% ouch!  Need 15 miles a day to make the goal
Run - 77% but should be at 100% by the end of the month, have my 20-miler tomorrow, and will only need 3-4 miles after that to get to 100%.

Bad month work-wise, wish me luck on the bike!

Swim will be finished tomorrow morning.
Run will hopefully be finished tomorrow night after coaching kids soccer.
Bike will be finished on Wednesday (commuting to work).

Have to take it easy on my left knee - it's occasionally telling me something is not right. I suspect I just overdid it with hills this past month and also should have replace my runners sooner.

I am planning on finishing the bike and Run Wednesday.  I have 14 miles to go on the bike and 3.5 for the run.  The swimming goal may have an issue, but I am going to work on the swim tonight I hope.  Just under a mile of swimming to go to get it completed.

I finished off my bike goal yesterday and I will get a 5 mile run in tomorrow morning. As for the swimming, totally blew it on picking my goal. Hopefully, I will hit 50% by tomorrow night, with a reach goal of 10000 yards.

Bike is done, Run is within reach with a good long run tomorrow. Swim? Unless I grow gills it probably is not going to happen. I can say this month exceeded any previous swim month in my life. The goal was to match the training plan and that definitely was a stretch for me. I should be able to bring it a little closer if the rest of life allows.

Swim completed this morning. 15,500 meters was my greatest distance in a Calendar month.
Run - hope to complete this tonight with an 8 km run after coaching kids soccer.
Bike - Will attempt to complete the 46.15 km tomorrow (my longest 1 day total).

Hey all,

I was going to update the SS for wk4 but with only tmorrow left I'll hold off.  I'll likely miss out on my swim and run since I caught a cold and am going to take it easy until I feel better.  I just need to be well by this weekend for the race!

Don

I did horribly this month falling way short of my bike and run goals with some unforseen circumstances (out of town for 5 days for a wedding, and a race I didn't plan on doing).

Better luck next month I guess.

I got it done, even though I didn't think I could.  Had a bunch of stuff happen early in the month, and it hit the training pretty hard.

Well here are the final stats, as a whole we finished at 86.7%.  Several people got the 100%, some injuries, illnesses, travels and a post race letdown were thrown into the mix!  Great job to all for the effort, its all that matters.

Well I'm off to the GoG bike challange, see some of you all around since I offered to do the SS for the winners Guys!

Don
