Pre-race routine:

Stayed at friends house, coffee and cliff bar for breakfast. GU 30 min before start.
Event warmup:

1/2 mile walk to start. No time for warmup jog.

Comments:

Wanted to beat 1:32:00 but the heat and especially humidity were too high. Had fog driving in in the morning. Decided to run as close to 157(AnT) as possible then try to push it at end. Didn't feel real strong in last 5k probably due to heat and humidity. One Gu 30 min before start and one 5 miles into race. Starting in corral 1 was so much nicer then getting caught in the crowd as happened in previous years. Not to much issue of having to run around folks but there were still a lot in corral 1 that shouldn't have been. Drank 1/2 cup water and dumped rest on head at every other water stop.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. Started just right, kept HR where I wanted it.

Heat and humidity.

I can't give a race that only gives you one beer a rating higher then 4
