Want an IMAZ watching thread?

In the thread 'look how far we've come' many talked about missing the old days here on BT when we did IM watching threads with a spreadsheet tracking all the BTers racing. I posted this in that thread but felt a new thread was warranted.

I loved the tracking threads as well and spend hours updating spreadsheets of BTers participating.

You guys want IM tracking threads...we have quite a few BTers doing IMAZ and IM Coz next two weekends.

I know IMAZ will have a number of BTers on the ground that could update the thread.

I used to often coordinate a thread and have folks who update the spreadsheet. It depends on folks schedule who would take charge and get things done. We have made improvement going from posting spreadsheet to using google docs which anyone could update. Last few times we did it, things didn't get updated.

Another BTer started doing it automatically with a program he wrote and started a nifty business that updates FB and such as folks cross timing mats which makes it super easy to track folks and see where BTers are on the course and ideally see them finish on the IM feed.

I will be traveling  next to weekends(driving from MA to TX) for our son's graduation from Air Force basic training and will be unable to help out for either race.

You guys want it, some one volunteer to start one. Check out the IMAZ thread to see if there is a google document for the BT racers, then post away. It helps if someone volunteers to get texts from  BT sherpas and volunteers to update the thread and that take a little pre planning.

Challenge is who will take the lead for IMAZ?
