Merry Christmas (I love you) by Hawksley Workman. His Christmas album Almost a Full Move is incredibly beautiful. At least I think it is a Christmas Album. I listen to it all year round.

Five GOLDEN Toques!  Four pounds of back-bacon, three french toast, two turlte-necks and a beer....in a tree.  Love it!

I love love love all Christmas music...with ONE SINGLE, HORRID, GLARING EXCEPTION: The Christmas Shoe song. It is an abomination, and should be purged from this universe, and any other nearby universes, as well.

That out of the way, probably my favorite Christmas album is The Edge of Christmas. I also get a lot of mileage out of my two elvis christmas CDs, Johnny cash, classic country ones, South Park, the first 3 Very Special Christmas albums, the Star Wars album, and... well, yeah. I think I have like 40+ cds of christmas music, and I love them all. (And NONE of them has that horrid shoe song.)

I love the classics sung by Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, and Burl Ives.

For real? I can't say it's one of my favorites, but I really really like it.

I like to rhyme. I like my beats funky.

I'm spunky. I like my oatmeal lumpy.

Now: On Topic...Artists...

Jim Brickman - classics, but played to stir your soul. The Christmas album.
Vince Guaraldi - the classic Christmas. Peanuts?
Frank Sinatra - nothing better. This is Christmas.
BNL - so up north. Reminds me of America's touque.
Bing Crosby - classic. It works.
Chris Botti - yeah, get your trumpet on. This is perfect.
Harry Connick, Jr. - Grab the entire 'When my Heart Finds Christmas' album. Mmmhmm. Try out 'Sleigh Ride'.

Now some songs you may or not know exist:

- My Chimney, DJ Riko. I been thinkin' bout my chimney, when you comin' down it?
- Twas the night before the goose got fat, DJ Riko. Louis Armstrong remix. Whoa.
- What Child is This, Michael Hedges. A Windham Hill classic.
- Santa Baby, Little Drummer Boy, Pink Martini. Just how you think Pink would sing 'em.
- Christmas Eve (various versions), Trans Siberian Orchestra
