Pre-race routine:

Young, Amber, and I met Jessica at the picnic site at Mirror Lake. We got directions, checked gear and got bikes ready.

Comments:

We hiked mostly--there were 4 mandatory checkpoints. We found the flags easily enough and walked through to the transition point. Other people were running but in a 6 hour race it was way too early to run

We ended up running at the end. We were 4 1/2 minutes past the 6 hour mark. There was a 5 minute grace period and we made it in time.

Warm down:

We hung out and drank Sockeye Red IPA beer and told war stories. Very fun.

Event comments:

Fun race! Brian did a great job organizing.
