So maybe it's time to start a training group. I am hoping to come out and run this race.

I have never done it but live in the area and heard its hilly. Someone told me it was basically the Columbia Triathlon bike course 2x. Should be a great event and I would love to do it sometime since its in my backyard practically.

Thanks for the info! I would love to find an elevation chart of the bike course, maybe there is one on the REV3 website. Coming from the Midwest, hills are somewhat hard to find

So the race is about 3 weeks away.  Is everyone ready?  I am mentally working through transition, especially T1.  It sounds like it's going to be COLD. How are you all planning to dress, i.e. arm warmers, jacket, toe covers, etc.?

Also, it sounds like REV3 provides water and Gatorade. I could not find any information about other nutrition but wonder if PowerBars are provided?  I will likely just carry nutrition but good to know what is available.

The weather is looking pretty sweeeeeeeeeeet. Although the most fun I ever had was a triathlon where it started downright pouring for the last 1/4 of the bike and the entire run. Something about forgetting about time goals and just having fun with it makes it actually... fun!

Way to jynx it for us - cold - 42 at race time and rainy...  Hell, when I tell my friends about the race - there will probably be snow falling as well Laughing

Dude! Snow would be epic! Snow angels at the finishline!

My best race this year going my USAT score was in a downpour at Rev3 Quazzy. Really made for a fun and memorable race. Gotta keep a positive attitude!
