Event warmup:

Warm was cold at the beach. Put my wetsuit on then cloths back on to stay warm.

The current was moving. Not too choppy. Little hard to see bouys but you really only need to swim up the channel. Glad I swam a practice run that week which helped keep my bearings during the race.

Hard dressing warm when all set. Crowded tent. Lost cap googles out of sleeve, had to fun 50ft back to get them, who said that trick always works, mine fell out :)
What would you do differently?:

Know exactly what I was going to wear for good or bad don't try and think while in transition.

Wore leg warmers, tri-shirt, bike jersey, light jacket. Headwind the first 75 miles. 49 degress, my hands and feet froze. Stopped at special needs to warm up. Too hydrated for the weather; had to stop every ten miles from 50 to 100 to pee.
What would you do differently?:

Ride faster :)

Left one leg warmer on by accident, had to run back into tent, find my bag and untie it to stuff it back in.....grrrrr :)

I was a little chilled the first loop. Windy. Was excited to get back to transition for my special needs, which had a long sleeve shirt. Of course the wind dropped and I was hot in my long sleve, you can't always win. Knee pain from 20 to 26.

Run faster.
