Pre-race routine:

Got there early and talked to this guy Gary who is doing the race series and raced Ironman Kona last year (got in on the lottery, not qualifying). Kept talking, and talking, and talking, and then realized it was already 6:15 and my bike wasn't even up on the trainer yet. Plus, I had to get my picture taken before the race, so then I was really late getting started on my warm up.
Event warmup:

Quick spin on the trainer with some music (maybe 15 minutes total). Then cruised around in the parking lot spinning easy until the race started.

Comments:

Perfect conditions tonight. Zero wind, warm, but slightly overcast so no chance of overheating or even getting at all uncomfortable. I just went as hard as I could throughout and had a great race and blew out my best time so far.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, great race for me.

Warm down:

Rode around and talked to Mark. I was a little naseous when I first got done but it passed pretty quickly. It was good to just cool down easy and talk to Mark (instead of doing the dreaded TT brick).

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I don't know, nothing.
