Struggling a bit with numbness in the goods as well as in my feet sometimes.  What would eb the best saddle to help eliminate the numbing?  I got to believe that if it helps the groin area it would probably eliminate the tingle in my feet on long rides.

Saddle is one of the most person specific things ever. What works for me (stock Felt saddles) may or may not work for you.

I would bet your feet numbness has to do with your shoes, either too tight or the cleats are set up wrong.

I've been looking into this as well, as I'm experiencing discomfort with my new saddle on my new Cervelo S2.

a few questions for you - have you had a fitting done for the bike? and not really just the fit you get from the shop you bought the bike, but the 2-3 hour fitting? A shop recommended I get a true BG fit, then try out the saddle again before I purchased another one. I have a fizik arrione saddle, the guy tells me it's a pretty good saddle, but without being fit correctly, it could feel terrible.

with that said, I've read up on the Specialized line a bit and have a few friends that have Romin and Toupe (both have a cut out in the middle) and say they are comfortable. My older bike has a specialized saddle, but not a cut out. There is an indention through the middle running from behind the nose to the back and I never had the problems I've had with the Arione. So - that may give you a start.

I think Daniel is right on with the shoe comment. I was having the same problem, went back to my fitter and he adjusted my cleats. Went 80 on saturday and didn't have any problems.

As for the saddle, some local bike shops will let you demo saddles until you find one you like. I was having the same numbing problems and am trying an adamo racing saddle. Different pressure points but didn't go numb and made it 80......still need to tweak it a bit before I give a final eval.

I lowered my saddle an inch and a half and cured my numbness totally.

x2 (except I'm currently riding a Cobb saddle)

I've chased my tail on the saddle numbness for a while.  I bought the adamo and the V-flow and they were actually way worse than my stock Bontrager saddle.  Plus the extra width in the front caused serious friction problems on the inside of my thighs.

After trying several different saddles I went back to my stock saddle and experimented with the angle of the seat and found a sweet spot that works very well for me.  I've gone up to 2 hours on it with no problems now and may just stick with it through my IM, or at the most get a little higher end saddle with the same shape/characteristics.

Yep, agreed.  Also, try looking into other ISM Adamo saddles in addition to the racing model.  That particular one might be too hard.  The Road and Prologue have proved super comfortable for me so far after the sit bones adaptation phase. =)

I agree with what all the posters said.  Saddles are particular to the individual.  I personally and a bigger fella and got off the stock saddle on my Roo, and went with and Adamo typhoon and have been very happy with the results.

Foot numbness assuming your shoes are sized correctly (moving from European to American shoe sizing isn't an exact science) then I too would agree with adjusting your cleat position.  I had the same problem and by moving my cleats back towards my heel, it but the pressure just a little behind the balls of my feet instead of directly on them and that has alleviated the foot numbness.
