Event warmup:

Did 2x .5 miles. first .5 mile was just easy, then stretched. Then .5 miles with a few drills and pick ups. Then another .5 with Chris same.

Comments:

We were the 3rd relay to the exchange point- first was another coed team then an all female team, then us. Even with the walk fo the mile 4 aid station, this was pretty quick. First mile was too fast then chilled out and OK after that.
Hurt more than 5 miles should have :)
Chris was a solid run and Alex Kicked BUTT!!!!
Awesome day!!! and we were second in our relay division!! NOT BAD :)
Post race
Warm down:

walked with kids to the car and drove to the final relay point then warmed up with Alex a little before his 5k

What limited your ability to perform faster:

out of shape!!!
