Comments: it was a good time for me- i started a little slow- but paseed people on the uphill portions. I need to get used to running in the heat What would you do differently?: I could have eaten better last night- I just need to train more to get faster- otherwise it is my best official 5 k time and i still felt good at the end Post race
Warm down: walked around block, stretched for 2 minutes and had a bagel, some water, half banana , gatorade What limited your ability to perform faster: I am just carruing too much weight still- i think i could have done it a few seconds faster if i would concentrate on my pace, which is tough to do in a race. I just need to keep working hard and change the areas where i do my routine so i can master the hills Event comments: good, well organized and fun event- cant wait to do the 8k next year Last updated: 2006-05-29 12:00 AM

ate some oatmeal and drank some water stretched and did a light jog for 100 yards
5 minutes of stretching and a light jog for about 2 minutes
