Pre-race routine:

First race. Tried a banana and some granola.
Event warmup:

Swam 200 yds in the lakes to adjust to the water temperature

Ended up swimming way off course, until a life guard stopped me. No idea how my sighting became so poor.
What would you do differently?:

Would practice sighting
Start more so in the front of the pack

Went well for my first transition, ever. Went slow up the large hill trying to recover after the swimming mess. Put socks on for the bike/run

Non existing brick training and limited swim training.
Concussion late April
Traveling entire month of May.

Event comments:

Really enjoyed Buffalo as my first tri! I will be back next year. Loved the atmosphere and had a blast. Loved the bike course and the open roads were not an issue. The run was tight, but we all survived.
