First off, prayers and good vibes to all that are being affected by this fire. I hope your lives will return to some semblance of normalcy soon.

Can anyone give a hands on report on this beast? Specifically how it's affecting the RMNP area? We're headed up to the area to hike a bit in a few days and were wondering about the air quality inside the park and around Estes Park.

Last I heard Estes Park and RMNP are not affected because their altitude is higher than the fire's.  Down on the front range we are affected by the smoke and of course the entire state of Colorado is under a burn ban except for developed camp sites with grates.

I've been staying at Estes Park and haven't been able to smell the smoke.  I suppose all this could change with wind.  I went for a run yesterday and felt fine.
