Subject: Run Forest Run!!!!

I have been running very regularly for about 3.5 years.  I get lots of toots and waves from passersby. 

 

But over the weekend I got my first "Run Forest run!!!"  yelled out a car window.  A couple of high school girls.  It sound just like Jenni from the movie.

 

How often do you all get "Run Forest run!!"?

I camouflage my running by being really slow so I have never had that problem.

However

Frequently when we are out on the river for crew practice someone will start yelling rhythmically at us "Row, Row, Row".  I always thought this was rather silly and invariably they are out of time with the rhythm of the boat.  We get a lot of people taking pictures of us as well which I also always think is rather strange.

I run near a number of schools and this is a common comment when the H.S. kids drive by. Apparently creativity is no longer being taught.

I made the mistake of telling my wife she could choose the "motivational" phrase on the last line of my Road Id...Yep "Run, Forest, Run". She a big fan of the movie, and despite my initial inclination to veto the suggestion, I decided to keep my wife happy and did it.

And besides, in reality, I have no veto powers with my wife.

Ditto here.  I run by a lot of the university housing and have heard it a few times.
