Swim
Comments: Bad, bad, bad. I was not properly trained for this event because I planned on doing 2 races at the end of the season, but they needed to be moved to the start of the season due to special circumstances. What would you do differently?: -Train for the event -Do more OWS -Maybe join a local tri group Transition 1
Bike
Comments: I thought that the bike leg went well considering the lack of training and the rain. This was my first time riding this bike in the rain, but luckily was not one of the people who wiped out. What would you do differently?: -Train more -Master the clipless pedals (they weren't used at this event) Transition 2
Run
Comments: I was worried starting off the run with soaked feet, but the new shoes seem to be an excellent fit for me because I didn't have any irritation or blisters. Slow run, but that's normal for me at this time. What would you do differently?: -Train Post race

Ate everything bagel toasted with butter and cheddar cheese roughly 2 hours before the event start time. Ate a date and drank a cup of water before the event started.
Run from transition set up to the water because there was a delay getting cars into the conservation area and I was almost out of time.
