I can hurdle that  bush........

I should tie the dog to my waste while I'm running down the side of this rocky mountain.......

I can totally clear that creek bed......

I should probably stick when I hit that gravel.........

Running in the heat will help me get used to running in the heat.

I have one like this, but I have never acted on it.  There is this one driveway that I run by regularly.  It is a paved driveway but it has a layer of loose pea stone on the top for decorative purposes, I guess.  I don't understand why that is.  Its the only one like that I have ever seen.  I have seen them with the stone imbedded, but not loose.

Anyway, I always think "I bet if I run fast enough, I could skid right across that driveway on my feet."

What could go wrong?

Pretykym - 2012-06-22 5:46 AM How to breed a chihuahua and great Dane....I spent over an hour concise ring the logistics Not my best moment

Step one: Get a stool

Yeah, it doesn't work well without the stool!

(my G. Dane was only about 8 months old here)

last year I was on a run and there was a construction barrel.  i thought Hey, I can hurdle that and tried.  Ended up hurting my achilles and hobbled through the whole season with pain.  /facepalm

"You know, if I turned left instead of right, it would only add a little bit more.  I could use it..."

6 miles later....

The trails I run routinely are near rail road tracks.  I typically think how and where I would run, veer off, hurdle to avoid a derailment if it would happen.  I envision the scene from THe Fugitive where Harrison Ford leaps under the embankment right before the train barrels into him.  In reality, I would likely end up like Ray Broward - the young man the 4 kids from Stand By Me go looking for.

What if the zombie apocalypse happens now and I'm 10 miles away from home. Hope my cardio is still good and the zombies are slow.
