Denise Ramsden (Yellowknife, NWT) [Women Road Race, Women Individual Time Trial]

Good selection, I'm sure. I'm happy that Ryder Hesjedal was selected for the men. I have a friend who was on the shortlist and I think she had a good chance of being selected but she broke her collarbone at Nature Valley.

We could only send 1 man and the same person had to ride the road race and the TT, so it came down to whether we have a better shot at winning the road or the TT.

I've been thinking the same thing. His form is going to be shot for the Olympics even if he soft-pedals the whole TdF.
