Subject: Canadian National Age Group Tri - Anyone else doing?
Anyone thinking about doing the Nationals in Brampton this year???

I'm toying with the idea. My coach says it would be a good experience, even if I'm not competitive.

I hear you have to drop your bike off the night before the race to get checked out. The rules are pretty daunting.

Would be nice to see some BTer's there?

Is that the C3 run event?  If so, I did the try a tri there last year and had an amazing day.  The event was sooo well run, and it was my first try, so I was totally overwhelmed with the whole experience.  I was done racing my 9am and then stayed all day to watch the rest of the racing.  Threre were some incredible athletes there.  BBQ, music and and overall wonderful day.  Can't give you much input on the race itself and I understand that it is being run at a different venue this year, but I did have a great time.

Is this the ITU event? Is so I think I may be jockstrapping gocorey when he does it. Its still up in the air though.

Yep it's the ITU event. I'm meeting with my coach this week to talk about it. I don't want to come dead last in my age group. 2nd last though would be perfectly acceptable!

Ok , it's official. I'm doing the Nationals. What am I thinking! My best 10k time is only 60 minutes. Apparently the "experience" will do me good.

If you see someone coming in last that'll be me! If I'm not puking at the finish line I'll have a beer!
