Pre-race routine:

We were able to rack our bikes the night before, so it was a mostly relaxed morning of getting ready since I was staying right there and since with the time trial start, I would not be in the water until an hour or so after the first swimmer.

Wow. I was all over the place. The buoys were not lined up very well, plus I seemed to have a need to check out the entire lake. Good swim otherwise.
What would you do differently?:

Swim in a straight line.

Started into a headwind. After the previous week, I was so over headwind, I could hardly pedal. Made a turn just past the halfway point and had a tailwind. I was flying, going 23is mph the rest of the way back.
What would you do differently?:

Not race an HIM the week before.

Very slow here. I have a hard time remember my racking spot with the wheel-in racks (whatever they're called). I am never sure if it's my space or I'm the next one over. I need to figure out a way to "mark" it.

I really enjoyed this race and am glad I did it even though I had done Gulf Coast the week before. Definitely would like to do it again.
