suzielea - 2012-07-18 8:56 PM Sappho - ok don't know where the rubbish weather is but I'll be getting in another 2 stages today either side of a swim. As to % didn't think about the stage and distance deal, but mine which is only based on stages was wrong anyway. Thanks for rejigging the formulas though.

2 stages more done - 5 total now - 1.85 and 1.78  respectively - with a 600m swim in the middle.

Hey folks!  I'm heading out of town today for a sprint tri tomorrow.  I'm planning on getting a lot of riding done while I'm out of the city, so I should hit my goal by Sunday!  I most likely won't be able to update until I get back, so don't get worried that I'm behind!

One day of racing left! Be sure to have your spreadsheets up to date by the end of Monday for final standings.

Sorry kids - nothing over 100% of your goal counts - at least that has been Kat's rule in the past challenges. If she wants to change that....

Sky = 88.3%

Garmin = 87.3%

BMC = 86.3%

Liquigas = 82.2%

Europcar = 71.7%

Omega = blank spreadsheet

I'm back and just input my sessions/miles while on vacation. We had a great time, BTW. My last stage is tomorrow morn. I only need 24 miles to get me to my goal but I'm riding with a friend and we have a 40 miler planned. I'll put that in tomorrow afternoon and be at 100%. Who will join me there? We can come from behind.....we can do it!

Sorry team, this cold has knocked me around too much to get any more stages in. Still 5 bike rides in 3 weeks is better than I've been doing recently so it is an improvement.

The sprint to the finish line is on! Omega Pharma is challenging Sky for the lead! Be careful, or these teams might just launch Garmin to the finish line.

Omega Pharma = 95.8%

Sky = 95.8%

Garmin = 92.6%

BMC = 87.7%

Liquigas = 83.9%

Europcar = 79.6%

Just finished my last stage and put the data in the spreadsheet. I'll be glad to take a couple days off biking. This is my first BT challenge and it's been fun.

suzielea - sorry you've been sick. That's never good. You gotta take what life gives you, though so don't beat yourself up over not being able to finish. Get well. Drink lots of water.

Enjoy your Sunday and the last stage, everyone!

Second group to cross the line in Paris

Sky - ceilidh = brings team to 100%

Garmin - chrisrunz26 = brings team to 93.5%

Europcar - sappho96 = brings team to 83.6%

No change in the other teams. Sky is in yellow but will they have to share the glory with another team?

Hey guys,

So I fell a bit short this weekend.  I'd been planning to do a bunch of riding out in Door County while I was up there doing a sprint on Saturday.  I think either my race beverage or post-race food didn't agree with me, since I spent Saturday afternoon after my race not feeling very well, and threw up 3x.  This was several hours after the race, so I don't think it was just from racing too hard.  I felt better by Sunday and was able to do a moderate length ride Sunday morning, but didn't want to push it considering how my Saturday went.  I still got to 96%, so not too shabby considering my unexpected bad luck this weekend!

Well done , this challenge seems too short , i had a commitment the third weekend so did not get my last two rides in to get to 100% . Catch you all next time

Final standings

Sky - 100% - first to arrive in Paris and wear the yellow jersey

Omega Pharma - 100% - shares the yellow jersey with Sky

Garmin - 98.4% - 8 riders at 100% = the team award

BMC - 94.6% - the constant contenders who didn't quite make it to the line = polka dot jersey

Europcar - 87.9% - lots of potential here = white jersey

Liquigas - 83.9% - lost two riders at the start but 3 of their 4 remaining were always in the hunt = green jersey
