It will probably be up again in the next few days. Aaron is always improving the website. If that is even possible!
Onurmark is expecting a new arrival within the next few weeks. Aaron will be the proud father of a baby boy any day now.

Ahhh, I was wondering the same thing -- I've tried contacting them (through FB and email), but with a new little one on the way, that's more important!

So their website is still down and I'm not sure how to get in contact with them (I tried FB and an email address that I had that I'm not sure if they check...).

Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone might know the answer to my question.  I was riding my bike on the 4th of July and was hit by a truck.  I'm pretty much down for the count right now (can't put any weight on my left foot because of what I suspect will be some internal damage to my knee -- have an MRI scheduled for tomorrow).  I know they generally have a "no refund" policy, but I'm hoping they might make an exception for something like this -- ideally, I'd like to just put the registration fee toward a future event, rather than getting a refund.

I'm also signed up for the Houston Towne Lake Oly at the end of September.  If I have to have surgery on the knee, I'm not sure that I'll be healed up and ready to go by 9/30, but that's far enough out that I'm not too worried about it yet.  The Bridgeland tri, on the other hand, I know I will not be able to do.

All their websites work fine for me.

http://www.onurmark.net/BridgelandTri.html

Refunds / Transfers / Deferrals / Changes

There are no deferrals and no transfers of registrations for any reason. Please do not email us asking for exception.

We will offer a $20 refund for the Sprint (regardless of Category) if you request a refund on or before June 1, 2012.  When you request a refund, your name will be removed from the registration database.  After June 1, 2012, however, no refunds will be processed for any reason, without exception, no matter the circumstance.  Please understand this policy prior to signing up for the race.

Agreed -- and I did ask.

The no refund policy stands. I'm a little disappointed since my injury was due to a truck hitting me, but I do understand that they can't give a refund to every person who twists their ankle or gets a cold or whatever....hopefully someone on the wait list can participate now that I can't.  And I'm hoping to be physically fine enough to go watch the event and cheer on the athletes!

Thanks for the well wishes guys! This is one stubborn baby : ) Almost to the due date and he's not budging. On Thursday we get to pick a DOB though so we're looking forward to that.

I do all the design and maintenance myself on the site, just easier that way, and I use iWeb and Mobile Me. Both are apple products. Mobile me is the host server. They eliminated it and it screwed us up for 1-2 weeks. I took the opportunity to improve the site. It's more simple and way easier to navigate around.

www.onurmark.net then click events. Should answer all your questions. If anyone still can't get on it let me know please.

Thanks and see you guys soon.... as far as refunds and transfers. We will not honor a transfer or deferral going forward, it's just too hard to track. We do offer small refunds but typically the request has to be made 2 months in advance. After that we order everything so the money is spent.

Have a good one!

Also, confusion may be avoided to visit the onurmark.net website and not the onurleft.com website. Remember Onurleft is training and Onurmark is events. Thanks!
