Did anyone else have trouble hearing the diaglog? Maybe it was just my theater and/or me getting old, but I couldn't make out much of what either Batman or Bane were saying. If there was any action going on, it was totally a lost cause.

I missed 5-6 lines from Bane.  I wasn't the only one, since most of the group I was with said the same thing.  I think it was the accent, voice modification, and background noise/mix that made it hard.

Iowaman - 2012-07-23 11:44 AM It was so fraking awesome. Great plot and incredible ending.

Glad you liked it, how did the boy like it?

He loved it. We immediately had to go to Walmart and drop $41.00 buying Batman, his new ship and Bane. He's been playing Batman since the movie.

No, it was hard for me too. Fortunately, I don't think his dialogue was for the most part revealing critical plot details. Basically, I think if you are wearing a mask over your mouth, you are going to be a bad guy (I'm looking at you, Darth Vader....)

For me the back ground music or noise blocked it out. I bet the DVD will be a lot better.

Yeah, thinking back, it was more the music/background that was covering the dialog. Like the equalizer mix needed to be adjusted. As also mentioned above, thankfully it wasn't like there was much to lose in terms of plot development.

My 6 year old son ran up to me and yelled, " Bane leave my town" and slugged me in the gut. I love my son. I think he's Batman.

So worth taking him to DKR Monday.

Saw it yesterday.  Great movie and great ending of the trilogy.  Only a few complaints that are so minor that it doesnt take away from the overall story (like Banes Origin and dependency on venom- but it works and ties in nicely, as opposed to Bane's other Batman movie appearance).  Overall, Its a really good movie.  One thing I like about Nolans vision is he made great movies that happen to be about a superhero.  Where as Avengers was a great superhero movie.

I commented later that 'Batman' really wasnt in the movie that much but he isnt missed as the story keeps moving along.

I recommend it and I hope outside forces arent keeping people from seeing it.  We rent a theater for the big releases, about 14 of us, costs about $10 each and includes a large popcorn and soda but its at 9am.   But even with the private showing, we had 3 people back out.

I did read that WB was changing the "Gangster Squad" trailer to remove the theater scene.. ours wasnt.

I don't think someone has posted this yet.  There are several of these that are ridiculously funny.  The Superman and Batman sitting in a cafe ones are awesome.

If you like Batman, you'll like these.

I love those! The little bits at the cafe with Superman and Batman are hilarious. I think one of the best of them is the one with Supermario. "You are-a Superman. I am-a Super Mario. We are-a the same."
