Subject: The fastest man in the world

Semis for the men's 100m dash get underway at 2:45 EST (today); the final is at 4:50 EST. This is my absolute favorite race of the Olympics.I will try not to post spoilers until after this evening's coverage on NBC, but if anyone does want to talk about it before then, put "***SPOILER ALERT***" at the top of your post. Woot!

I know the result, but it was a bummer of an experience for me. The NBC Live Extra (online) feed was going in and out prior the race. I missed them announcing the runners, and then I got a second or two of action as everyone was getting set in the blocks. Then, it went out again and the next piece of video I saw was them following the winner around the track. So bummed. I still haven't seen the race. I hope NBC doesn't air it too late in prime time tonight. I want to see it!I had no issues watching the semi finals. I wonder if too many people were logging in to watch the finals.

489	Subject: RE: The fastest man in the world I was there! Just got home from the stadium. Such an amazing atmosphere and electrifying race. Once in a lifetime opportunity for me to see the fastest men on earth have it out 10 miles from where I live. Jaw dropping.
