Anybody here watching it? What is your consensus on the season?

Skyler is flat out losing it. Previous seasons were still kinda "fun and games drug trafficking". This season is real deal stuff. Walt trying to turn the kids and Hank/Marie against Skyler. Pretty intense stuff.

I wish my wife and I started watching this show sooner.  On a fluke, flipping channels late one night, we watched an episode (from about 5 minutes in) and it turned out to be the Pilot episode.  It was really good.  At some point we'll watch it all from the beginning.

We're watching it but we're behind. We just started it on Netflix a couple weeks ago and are coming to the end of season 2.

I really like it, and can't wait to see where it goes.

Season 4 was awesome. I'm sad 5 is it, but hopefully it will have a good conclusion and a good story arc. You do notice the change in Walt as the show goes on.

The silent closing shot from the last season was brilliance. It completely recast so much of what we thought we knew all season long.

I think this will definitely go down as one of the greatest television dramas ever.

I can't believe we're not talking about it more.

I just checked out Seasons 1, 2,  and 3 from our library.  Season 4 is on hold and should be coming soon.

I'm behind, but I'm trying to catch up as quick as I can.

This is one hell of a great series! We love it. We have watched every episode. Each season improves over the one before, and that is saying alot cause its awesome from the get go. So far though season 5 has been a bit of a let down for me. But im sure we are just getting set up for much fun later as things progress. Gotta go..... "its time to cook!"

I love this show!  I discovered it on accident one day on Netflix last year.  I'm only through episode 1 so far this season, but season 4 got really intense.  Hats off to the writers of that show for the content.

I'm all caught up and loving it but find it hard to believe that all four seasons represent one year and that ALL that could have happened in only one year... that Walt could have changed THAT much and become SO evil so quickly.  But maybe that's the life of a cook ha ha

And judging by the premiere of Season 5, its going to encompass an entire year as well. He was in the diner with 52 in bacon on his eggs and he just turned 51 in episode 4.

^^^This.  Best. show. ever.

I don't know how every dang show they roll the credits and I exclaim "Dammit!  they did it to me again"  I'm left with that cliffhanger like feeling of wanting more.  From the dialogue to the scene sets, to the music backdrop, just well done.

13 Emmy nominations this fall can't be wrong!

Last night's ending was tough to watch. Don't want to be a spoiler, but its amazing how fast pure joy/accomplishment can do a 180 and turn into a "OMG, what have you done" moment.

Definite shocker - even blew away Walt and Jesse. Jesse is still a nice kid at heart. Love the psycho Walt has turned into. And love how controlling and psych the chain smoking Skyler has become. Didn't know this was the last season. Boo hoo. This one will go down in the books same place as Rescue Me. That show rocked too!

This latest episode is a major turning point, or maybe more accurately, a cementing of the direction we didn't want to believe was inevitable.

This show is unlike anything I've seen. It is too good to be tv.

BOOM goes the dynamite!!!!

I always wondered what the 'little' thing that get W.W. caught.  Now we just have to see if he got out in time and enough to cover his tracks

Great cliff hanger - but really, we have to wait till next summer for the second 1/2 of season 5?

Love the show! Remember the first, and maybe 2nd, season...lots of laughs - funny banter back and forth with Jesse and Walt. And even into season 3 we really rooted for the 'bad guys'. Then sometime during season 4, it got pretty grim, graphic in terms of gritty down and dirty insiders look-see... and by this last episode, I turned to my husband and said, "I don't really like Walt at all anymore". Love(d) Mike, Saul the snake lawyer, and Jesse. Walt's wife really needs to just LEAVE. Why the heck has she stayed if she is so freaked out? I mean SHE was the one who was all set to divorce him but then (when greed kicked in) she wanted to launder his money and 'would take care of it all'.

I think Hank is gonna have to watch his back CONSTANTLY now and no amount of hiding in his purple-clad home will save him! And wonder if Junior or whatever he wants to be called now will figure into the scenario at all?!?! Can't wait for me ...and its a long wait. Just like the wait for American Horror Story and The Walking Dead.....

I am going to lose my mind waiting for next summer to wrap this up. I guess I need to start marathon training in 2013.

I have started re-watching the series from the pilot, via netflix. I came in to the series around mid-second season, then kept up with it in "real time" ever since.

Anyway, as I revisit it, it's interesting to see that it really wasn't a change in character at all. We just didn't want to admit it was there. I am referring to Walt's willingness to kill. We were more sympathetic in the beginning, it was "self-defense" and there were violent unsavory characters who brought their own undoing upon them, in a way.

But each successive addition to the body count has been less sympathetic. Once we peaked with cheering him on versus Gus, the incident with the train jacking was inevitable. Then we weren't at all shocked with Mike, or the 9.

I also wonder when other bits and pieces from the early episodes will come back as evidence or clinchers for Hank, like the gas mask. The Keyser Soze moment was excellent, especially since we have seen this exchange before, and thought Walt dodged it. But Hank is no dummy, and he is tenacious. First I thought that if only he ate more fibrous vegetables, Walt might have made it undetected. But eventually Hank was going to get him.

So now what? It's going to be so long, I'll set a goal to be sub-clydesdale when the fate of Heisenberg is finally revealed.
