Comments: Went with the "Relaxed Wave". I will go with age group next time. I was a bit concerned with this being my 1st Tri. Swam mostly breaststroke. Working on more Freestyle, my goal for this winter. What would you do differently?: Felt pretty good, just need to work on the Freestyle. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: Need to leave shoes attached to pedals. I didn't work on this technique before the Tri, so that is a practice I need to pick up. What would you do differently?: Need to cut about a minute off this time. ![]() Bike
What would you do differently?: Hill work and more strength training. ![]() Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Be a bit quicker. Thought I laid everything out the way I wanted, but I have some room for improvement. ![]() Run
Comments: I came off the bike and I was afraid my calves were going to cramp up, so I started slow. What would you do differently?: I need to take in more fluids and pace a bit better. I can certainly run harder than I did. ![]() Post race
Warm down: Took it easy and rooted on my wife at the finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nutrition--Didn't eat well enough the week prior and paid for it. Hills---Need to work on hills on the bike. Strength---Need to add this to my training, will probabaly help me lose some unwanted weight that I am carrying around. Last updated: 2012-08-06 12:00 AM
