I am having a hard time understaning how this is not getting the attention it deserves.  BTW, I would have same level of outrage regardless of Administration's Party affiliation.   I can live with taking a brief period of time to gather intel, get the facts etc and then report to the Public.    What I can't take is being intentionally lied to by this president and his adminstration.   I have several opinions as to the why, but even at face value, people should be a lot more upset than what I am hearing.   This free pass by the press has hit an all time high on this one.

I do find it hard to believe that this isn't getting more press.  It does seem to me that the administration is getting a free pass on this one.

I haven't seen it, but if the media is ignoring something that would hurt this administration, I don't find it the least bit surprising or hard to believe.

I think the premise of the "lies" are mostly related to the evidence appearing to show they had direct knowledge that it was a terrorist attack very soon, but continued on for many days insisting it was a spontaneous attack by people who were upset about the youtube video.  The logic is that if it's the "video's fault" then the administration has no liability, but if it was a terrorist attack then the administration failed to do what was necessary to keep our embassy safe.

I've seen several stories on the subject.  Here's an opinion piece from this morning going over the issues.

Personally, I feel there are two sides to the discussion.  The first part is did the administration policy of supporting the Arab Spring contribute to the attacks?  The second part of the discussion is the administrations fairly obvious attempt to lessen the political impact of the attacks by pinning it on a spontaneous rowdy crowd getting out of control and apparently trying to hide (at least initially) that it was an Al Qaeda attack.
