Run
Comments: No one really knew what time the race would start and it was very cool. I only wore a long sleeve dry-fit and Nike jacket. I felt okay before the race started, but I could have done without the jacket on the run. Something I'll have to consider for the Huntersville Half. What would you do differently?: Not wear the jacket. Post race
Warm down: Static stretches, walked around and did not sit. What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing, but felt I should have run a little more before the race started. Due to the delay this was difficult to do. Event comments: The course, the people and the bus transport were great. The website information was poor, on site registration opened well passed the 10:30 a m time posted, the timing company was poor, the results were never posted after the race, the megaphone they continually tried to use never worked, they did announce AG awards from the youngest to the oldest and it started at age 8 so it took forever. Bib was basic, no timing chip. I liked the course, just wasn't too happy with the way it was organized. Last updated: 2012-11-14 12:00 AM
