the same johnny boyfriend of mine started at the naval academy in 99, only to drop out and hike the whole appalachian trail instead. the trail was much more fun.

I was released from the Army to go to NAPS, so I had to do the year there, which basically ruined my taste for the Academy (knowing my classmates at NAPS would become Naval Officers really bothered me as a lot of them were less than acceptable by my standards). Plus I really wanted to get into Architecture, and the Academy does not have anything but naval arch., and I didn't want to design ships the rest of my career. Plus after being in and around the military my whole life, I was ready for a change.

Arnold is a local area, but he probably went to Broadneck Sr. High as that is closest to Arnold.

ummmmm.... Yes tredmill miles count. I do half my miles on the treadmill so if not, then i'm screwed.

Yes, of course, running is running, even on the dreadmill.
