He just guessed like the rest of us that, since it has been cold and rainy, that there was a better chance than usual that the race will be wetsuit legal. |

That lake is not that deep at any spot, so it may not be as bad as we think! |

So, while it isn't an official indication, they suspect that it will be wetsuit legal. But watch this warmer weather because the lake temp will rise quick. |

Do we think it will be above 70oF? I am still bringing my wetsuit, but I would honestly be surprised if it turns out to be a wetsuit swim. That lake is at most 6ft deep and we will have some warm days ahead of us (80's). I am torn as to if I want it to be a wetsuit swim or not actually. |

Water would still need to rise another 4 degrees to not be wetsuit legal. |

Personally, I wouldn't spend the money to buy one at this point in the season unless you knew for certain that you would use it a fair amount in future seasons. |

A little harder to go deep to find a cold spot. |
