Bluejack - 2006-08-21 10:14 PM BTW Jim, too bad you can't make it. Now I have to buy soda. Hehe.

Yeah...I'm a little cheesed that I have to miss it, but I tell you what...I'll still get the sodas. I'll give them to Janelle and she can bring them.

(Just don't let her do the swim clinic)

Heeey- I can do the swim clinic.  After all- I've been "Russtified"!

Hell, I've been "Russtified" too, and SG, we could probably all do the swim clinic.

Charlotte has been russtified too!  We've all been russitified!!

Ok ya'll- please do not yell at me.  But.....

I am going to have to skip out on the swim and bike on Saturday.  Reason being, it really conflicts with my training schedule being that I have a 2 hour bike scheduled for that day and a 50 min run.  Swimming would just mess it all up, considering I swam 3,500 yards today and will be swimming 4,000 yards tomorrow.  Swimming on Saturday would just not be good.

Anyways, I've  been stressing about how to fit the OWS and bike into my training plan and still be able to fit everything else in that I'm supposed to do.  Then I realized that I'm trying to do too much and I'll be less stressed if I just stick with my training plan.  So...I'm officially bailing and plan to start riding at 7 am on my own and then meet up with Andy J's and ride with them for an last hour, and then run off the bike.

But the good news is that I'm still in for the cookout!!  I wouldn't miss that since there's going to be food!

I'm just going to miss the swim   Sniff, sniff.

Hmm well. Will people still show up for BBQ?

The park opens at 7AM. I was planning on 8AM. Please reconfirm if people are still going to go because we need to but food and whatnot. If folks have become unintrested we can still do the swim and bag the cookout.

I think Janelle said she still plans on coming to the cookout and Andy and I will be at the park for the swim and we'll be at the cookout also. I may not be able to ride though.  My knee has something freaky going on w/ it right now.  I have lost sensation on the side of my knee.  It doesn't hurt, it just feels like its asleep.  Really wierd, and with the half mary next weekend, I'm a little worried. But I am definitely in for the swim.

Just let me know what the  plans are.  I don't have computer access at home and won't be able to check BT after 5pm.  So can someone call me and let me know? If the BBQ is still on can I get directions?  Katie, can you PM me your home phone #  ??  Thanks!

OK. We'll go ahead. The park opens at 7AM but we are going to meet at 8AM.

If you Google Mistletoe State Park the directions are listed on the park site. As you enter the park go straight for about 1/2 mile. Take the first right and stay right until the road dead ends. The beach is at the end of the road.

Directions to my house is really easy from 20 or downtown. Take River Watch Expressway to Fury's Ferry Rd. This is Route 28. Go towards McCormick for about 5 miles (you will cross Evans-to-Lock). Once you pass Evans-to Locke the road narrows to two lanes and gos down a hill. On the left is Jones Mill subdivision. Turn into the subdivision and go to the end of the steet. The cross street is Pump House Rd., and we are on the coner to the left of the T. Address is 307 Pump House Rd.

706-294-7182 is my cell if you get lost.

I'll see those of you who make it to Mistletoe! We still have two kayaks for the group. I'm going to buy tons of food todayfor the BBQ cause we would eat it anyway! Beer and soda also. We will start gathering at 11:30-12:00 at my house, so I'm going to show up with coffee and stuff to play with in the park after the swim. We might as well enjoy the park also. About 10 or so Erin and I are going to go home to set up.

We're going to assume Katie and Co. are coming to the swim and Janelle and Katie Clan are coming to the BBQ.

If there are more folks great. If not we'll have fun anyway!

It costs three bucks to get into the park.

If you want to come, we will be there!
