Syrian Civil War has gone chemical

There were a number of reports that Saddam had moved the chemical stockpiles into Syria in the lead up to the war. Trucks rolled across the border day and night during the 2000-2002 time frame. Chemical weapons aren't difficult to make. They are difficult to weaponize for effectiveness. As more information comes out, we may find these are the same weapons.

I don't know that the rebel force will be a friend to the US. But I'm praying for Asad's forces to make the right choice when ordered to use this stuff on the civilian population.

It appears the Syrian Govt. forces have fired a chemical weapon on the Khan al-Assal neighborhood in Aleppo.  Twenty six are dead with scores wounded or hospitalized.  They have also been seen delivering chemical agents and weapons to  delivery systems over the weekend.

This will be UGLY.
