Subject: Mt. Penn Mudfest 15k
Hey anyone ever do this race? Just signed up for this on a whim. I love trail running and have only done a Warrior dash as an actual event and I am signed up for the Spartan race in July.

But wondering what advice or tips anyone would have for this Mt. Penn race. Looks like its highly rated and a bit of a bear! I'm pumped but now I need to quick get a week of trail training in before next weekend haha!

No, but I went to college in Reading and ran x-country. Anything on Mt. Penn is going to be very tough!

I am running this one too. I've done a few other races on Mt. Penn and they are tough! It will be a great event and well attended 600-800 runners. You will walk sections and you may be on all fours at times. On the upside there is a bar at the finish line:-)

And if it swings by the Pagoda, they may have beer on the course...I haven't done this one, yet, but the races there are fun!  Is this one during the day or night?

Nice! Thanks for the responses. It's a day run. Pretty sure it starts at 9am. Looking forward to it.
