Comments:

The water was very choppy with a strong wind creating a bit of a current. Difficult to sight correctly. 2nd buoy blew from mooring so may have swam extra. Cold temperatures and first time swimming with neoprene cap and booties. Could have been worse! (See IMSG 2012 :)

This T1 time is kind of embarassing. I was a little disoriented after the swim, had trouble getting the wetsuit and booties off. Spent a lot of time getting things on ready for the bike. I felt like I was moving in slow motion.

Started out conservative, hit the middle hard, and had a solid finish. A great bike for me on my first completely flat course. The wind made things challenging but I didn't get discouraged. Made a good choice with double socks, gloves, tri top and arm warmers.

Congrats,  RJohnson1979!!!!  The missing buoy did cause some confusion.  My garmin has my swim at 1.32 miles!!!!!

Sounds like a good day despite the nasty swim. Also super cool to have such a good run after that swim and a pretty windy tough ride.
