What jumped out at me from your Garmin data, is that you have a +10bpm jump in HR at ~20 min, but no corresponding increase in elevation, and your pace actually decreases and then becomes more erratic, especially compared to your earlier pace, again, without a corresponding elevation change. Just out of curiosity, what's your BP like, if you don't mind sharing? HR can vary so much for individuals. You have a high max heart rate for your age, but the equation of 220-age is just a guideline. You are at one end of the curve--according to the posted data you hit 206. When you have these runs that are 190+ what is your PRE? Does it feel the same as when you're doing a 160bpm run? That probably seems like a silly question--but I'm trying to understand if you're specifically trying to push to your max running or if it just accidentally happens and you notice it when you're going over data. |
