Run
Comments: Went out in first pretty hard, then was caught and eased up. Took the lead for good around the 1.5 mile mark. What would you do differently?: Not much. Went out hard but not TOO hard. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: Tried to hold everyone off as long as possible. I was surprised I wasn't being passed!! NO ONE passed me on the bike! I was spinning hard. Transition 2
Run
Comments: Legs were HEAVY and I could not catch my breath! I was really trying to go, but felt like I wasn't moving. I was still in the lead, but I was running scared!! What would you do differently?: Not a whole lot - I was going as hard as I could even though I hoped to be 0:15 / mile faster. Post race

Part of a Powerbar on the way to the race, and 2 Roctanes about an hour and about 20 minutes pre-race. Sipping on Roctane Drink the whole time.
Ran about 1.2 miles while the long course athletes were out there.
