Looking through a few of this weekends IMTX reports things like swim time will show the correct overall time and distance but when broken down it shows something like 39 seconds per 100 or the correct marathon time and distance but 4min and change per mile. I'm using Mac with the latest OS and Safari browser. Thanks!

When I updated my RR for last Sunday, I put in my finish time and "autocalc" for the pace and it told me 5minXX sec per mile for a marathon. That'd be nice, but I'm not a professional!

When I imported it into my log, it displays correct pace, but yes, there's a glitch in the RR.

We just fixed this.  I confirmed by editing another member race report with the bad pace.

TO APPLY THE FIX: All you have to do is 'edit' it and 'recalculate the pace' and save.

Let me know if any problems.  I apologize for this bug.  This page was purely a 're-skinning' job, I didn't go back to check it myself and I assumed it would work fine.  I should know about assumptions.

With a hectic schedule and the desire to throw in other forms of exercise, I went from following one of the training programs to doing my own. Would it be better to follow a training plan?

The optimal number of times you should weight train is dependant on the time of year, how close you are to your A race, and which training cycle you are in.

Should I have time goals for the first sprint? Should I just finish the race at a reasonable pace? I'm not sure how to approach this.

We triathletes are a lucky lot. We have the time and the resources to enjoy a sport that is time consuming and can be very expensive. I take this opportunity to reflect on my good fortune.

A few factors are at the basis of increasing running speed. In my experience these factors are: variety, “pain,” time and injury prevention.

Many people in the triathlon world think they need to just emulate Ian Thorpe to have a faster time, or have a similar stroke to Michael Phelps to cruise through the swim. Unfortunately...
