Subject: Can't Add a Race to my Planned Race List
I can successfully navitgate to the race link for a race that I am planning on doing the weekend (Leon's World's Fastest Tri in Hammond, IN), but when I try to add it to my race list, I get an "Error on Page" at the bottom of my browser. Any ideas?

P.S. The transition to the new format has been really impressive, especially given all of the functionality available on the site.

hmmm...what browser are you using?  I just added it from the 'find a race' --> 'search by name' link.

Internet Explorer, but I had the same problem on a Mac with Safari too.

Ron, when I got home and used Firefox on my Mac, it worked fine. Thanks for checking it out. Explorer 8 and Safari gave me the same problem and would not let me add the race.

hmmm.  

Which way are you adding the race, from your race log 'add race' or through 'races' ' find race' 'search by name'?

They both seem fine to me, anybody else have problems?  I don't have IE8 and would like some independent confirmation.

Anyway you can get the details of that error?

Tried adding a race today. Got "error on page"

Using Windows XP, Windows Internet Explorer for a browser, not sure what version.

I tried looking it up and then adding, but no go. Thanks for this forum!

For the version, go to 'tools' then 'about internet explorer'

We are working on a fix for this, we think we have it narrowed down to the browser version.

I tried on both the IE 8 and my Chrome here at home to enter a race with no success.  I saw that a friend was doing it and realized that I hadn't added it to my log. Went to their page and clicked on add race and all it took me to was a race report.  Did a search for the race and tried to add it from there with no success again.  Had to enter it under Don't see my race.

I added it finally!  It was on Soccersandi and it is Steamboat Classic 15K

IE8 users, clear your browsers temp internet files, cache and cookies, we just verified a fix should allow you to add races directly from the link OR from your race log 'add races' button.
