The days are long, the years are short. Always be a team, in everything, especially in raising kids. Always keep a date night, even if it's just for coffee. Pursue your interests, but be careful about letting them get too high on the priority list. Never keep score. Be slow to speak, slow to get angry, quick to forgive. And above all, enjoy the ride!

All good things mentioned here but let's not forget some key things that have gone yet unsaid

hold her hand
tell her she's beautiful even when she thinks she's not (ie first thing in the morning, in the old oversized Tshirt and shorts before bed)
Hug often - pizza not always necessary but a nice perk
do fun things together - especially after kids - it's easy to get lost in the day to day "work" of having a job/house/kids -
go for a walk and talk
love each other

This (plus all the other advice), also ask her if she needs anything every time you get up to get something for yourself. Little things like that can make your spouse feel like a king/queen.

Been married 25 years now and had good and bad stretches like everyone else. People change over that many years, so you have to adapt, be tolerant of annoying traits, and find beauty in who your spouse is or has become.

Just one question will usually keep you out of trouble: "Do you want me to listen, or do you want me to fix it?" No charge! twomarks

The only thing you should be offering to fix is her car or the house.  Any and all other conversations, you are there to listen. This video sums it up pretty well.  http://vimeo.com/66753575

We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.
