My daughter (7 yo) just completed her first kids triathlon and I want to get her bib framed but don't want to spend an arm and leg. Anyone know of where I could get one online at a reasonable price?
Go down to hobby lobby and buy a small shadow box. You can pin the # and any other race paraphernalia in there. Maybe a finisher's medal?
Just an idea. Its what my gf did for my first podium finish.
I understand that you are proud, and justifiably so. My daughters were competitive dancers growing up, and I had the same reaction with their certificates, etc. If she enjoyed, this might be the first of many, so don't go overboard. After all, she's 7.
Go to any decent department store, find a nice frame, then make a border using your computer and a colour printer. It's easier than you can imagine, will look nice for her.
Iron distance racing depends on the three pillars of pacing, nutrition and mental outlook. Training these three areas can significantly improve your race.
We are often asked the question, "What size frame should I buy" and the answer is “it depends”. I know that’s not the answer you want to hear, but hopefully the following will shed some more light.
I am in the process of buying my first tri bike. Because of my size my fitter suggested buying a custom frame but then I have an infinite number of choices for components, wheels, aerobars, etc.
I'm considering a road frame buildup, what considerations should I take into account when swapping all of my components from my current setup to a new frame?
