Hotest day of the year. Super croweded at the start and for the first 3/4 mile at least. Didn't put out an extreme effort.

Nice to run thru the street of downtown NYC. Streets narrow and lots of turns. With many, many people.

I can train for half marathons on pavement and on trails, but as soon as I change it up to gravel or loose dirt my knee swells and the pain it causes is unreal. Any ideas why this happens?

Most episodes start with the tearing, giving-way sensation. This is localized about 1-2 cm inside the 10th rib on the side. How I might get a long term solution to this problem?

At 30 to 40 minutes into my run, my foot starts to go numb. If I keep going, the foot goes totally numb.

Upon releasing me from the ER, the cardiologists said that I have an athlete's heart - enlarged chambers and thickening of the walls. Should I be concerned?
