Exactly :) I like doing these. I'm a total dork like that. I can't believe I don't remember this, but do they let you take breaks (put a knee down or anything) or is it straight through? I do remember my counter having her fist on the floor under my chest... |

1159 | Subject: RE: September Push up challenge straight through - you can stop in the up position, not the down position; back has to be flat (no butt in the air or humping the ground) and no turkey necking (dipping your neck down to the ground); one rep is arms breaking 90 degree angle, and back up; must maintain 4 points of contact - they don't do the fist now, but they used to... and you don't want me watching them, because I will stop people if they are doing it wrong...and don't ever tell me you can't do push-ups because you are a girl...biggest pet peeve ever! |

We'd get along just fine, trust me pretty sure we would...I actually had an E3 tell me that after she failed the push-up portion on her PT test (and she only had to do like 15)...ohhh bad idea...we did remedial push-up's every day |

Regular 5477 LHOTP | Subject: RE: September Push up challenge Originally posted by austhokie If memory serves, the most I got in 2 minutes was 81, but when I was doing my push ups tonight I realized I would have a tough time doing 47 to max out. It will be interesting to see if that gets better as we go through the month. Done for today Originally posted by switch pretty sure we would...I actually had an E3 tell me that after she failed the push-up portion on her PT test (and she only had to do like 15)...ohhh bad idea...we did remedial push-up's every day Originally posted by austhokie straight through - you can stop in the up position, not the down position; back has to be flat (no butt in the air or humping the ground) and no turkey necking (dipping your neck down to the ground); one rep is arms breaking 90 degree angle, and back up; must maintain 4 points of contact - they don't do the fist now, but they used to... and you don't want me watching them, because I will stop people if they are doing it wrong...and don't ever tell me you can't do push-ups because you are a girl...biggest pet peeve ever! That's some good stuff. I think Husse is punking us, but what the hell. I'm done for today, and my girls even did some with me after our run. |

Regular 5477 LHOTP | Subject: RE: September Push up challenge OK. This is so dumb. I didn't get mine done yesterday. I simply waited to late in the day, and got to 80 and then bailed on the rest to go to bed. Did I learn my lesson? NOooooooo. What am I doing right now? Alternating sets of 15 with posts on BT. I am too old to start doing 120 pushups at 9:30 at night. Fach. Must. Start. Earlier. Tomorrow. |

Regular 5477 LHOTP | Subject: RE: September Push up challenge Got mine done last night. This morning when I woke up I had tricep twitch--you know, like eye twitch but in your tricep. Real nice. So I cranked out four sets of 15 this morning with bouts of coffee and BT, thinking I'd hit the rest after my run this afternoon. My arms are fried! I'm up to 90 for the day, but I am stopping with hopes I can rally tomorrow. When I first saw this challenge I thought it would be no problem, but now I'm not so sure... |
