Subject: I'm Back!!!
Hi all,

Thought I would "re-introduce" myself, since I've been out of circulation for a while - wow, since 2009, time really flies!! Anyway, took a few years off to join our local Search and Rescue team, and get myself trained on most things rescue related - now am going to try really hard to make a comeback... My goal for the remainder of this year is just to ramp up my miles, then start competing a bit next year, and if the stars line up correctly, and I can remain injury free - perhaps make a run at an IM in 2015. Lake Tahoe is going to land very close to my birthday, and I think that would be a really cool way to celebrate turning 55 year old.

Anyway, hope to see some of you out on the trails...

Dennis

My thanks to the triathlete community for being there when I need you. That’s the beautiful thing about triathletes. None of us are all right, and no one expects anyone else to be.

Make peace with your speed. A full 85% of the field is done and heading out for brunch by the time my feet hit the finish line.

I may not have pre-pubescent hips or breasts and at 36 that would be ridiculous. I do not need to have an "airbrushed body" and why do I revere that?
