Anyone use Google Play music?  what do you think?  I have been using Itunes for years, but am thinking of making the switch.  Please tell me what you like and don't like about it.  Any other ideas?  Amazon, Pandora (paid service), etc.

I recently bought a chromecast, and Google play is one of the apps that they let you stream, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Thanks for any input you can give.

We use it on our Android phones and like it. Don't love it; but like it.  I moved my music from iTunes and it was relatively easy. I think it is the best option for anyone with an Android phone.  If it isn't, please pipe in, I'd like to hear about it.

I use Play for music as well.

First and foremost I'd prefer to use just about anything that isn't Apple so right away I'm anti-iTunes.  That said, Play works very well for me.  Using Chrome as my browser, and having an Android phone makes things very easy.  Plus with play I can actually use my music elsewhere if I so desire.

I haven't used play specifically, but I've used Amazon for about 3 years now and would never go back to iTunes.

In general any service that gives you the mp3 to use how you wish on your devices is a win.  I personally like Amazon because of the cloud player and how it syncs to my devices.  If I buy a song on my phone, pc, or whatever, it's purchased on all devices.   I can make a playlist on my PC and then it's available on my phone.

So, my normal routine is to tweak my playlist on my PC where it's easiest and it's just auto updated on my phone and there's one button to download all the music on that playlist to my phone.  viola it's just that easy.

I may check out google's service to see how it compares.
